At La Casona, every dish tells a story—a story born from family unity, a love for cooking, and a passion for sharing the best of our homeland. Over 16 years ago, our parents, together with us, the Tabares Arboleda siblings, made the decision to pursue a family dream: to open a restaurant that would reflect the essence of Colombian cuisine in the heart of Central Falls, Rhode Island.
Our mother, a professional chef with an immense love for cooking, was the driving force behind it all. Her passion for Colombian flavors and her dedication to the kitchen united us and inspired us to work together to create something truly special. But it wasn’t just her; our father, with his tireless effort and vision, also played a pivotal role in building La Casona. Together, with the unwavering support of our family, we created a place that, from day one, has been much more than just a restaurant: a refuge of tradition, flavor, and family warmth.
Over the years, La Casona has grown and expanded, yet we have always remained true to what makes us unique: dedication, hard work, and family unity. Every dish we serve is an extension of who we are and what we stand for as a family.
